Management Information, Trending and Reporting

Unite Technologies understands there is a direct correlation today between businesses success and management information. Organisations increasingly rely on detailed data capture with a drive to produce qualitative and quantifiable reporting, showing accurate and clear management information, in order to make informed IT and commercial decisions.

Unite Technologies provides an integrated solution to capture and communicate changes within the data centre environment in the management and automation of configuration and change management processes, as they relate to the data centre infrastructure.

Our Enterprise Level Device Monitoring, Control and Asset Management application, an integral component of our database services capability contains a central, visual repository of data centre infrastructure information, which integrates into a Configuration Management Database (CMDB), a core component of the ITIL framework.

Clients’ data centre layouts are graphically imported into our Enterprise Level Device Monitoring and Control applications, enabling a global view of the data centres’ infrastructure, across all levels down to rack level.

Aggregation of configuration information across data centre equipment, for intelligent monitoring and alarm processing, provides ‘real time’ identification of changes, scheduled polling and the ability to capture detailed data to produce highly sophisticated, graphical management information reports enabling clients to perform trend analysis and risk management for mission critical services.

Detailed values and management information across device location, power and cooling, network connectivity, asset application and customer information enable us to present analysis on current and historical trending.

This trend analysis can be further utilised to help CIOs make informed decisions on capacity planning, risk analysis, performance benchmarking and policing service level agreements.
