Simon Terry

Simon TerryChief Executive

Simon Terry received a formal engineering training and qualification in the defence industry, supporting the Trident nuclear submarine programme within the Nuclear Controls Division at Fisher Controls. Having gained valuable experience in the project management of high value engineering contracts, he gained a post graduate diploma in Strategic Marketing and moved into Sales where he held a series of senior international sales and marketing positions within technology-based companies, before being appointed in

2002 to the position of Managing Director of Knürr UK heading up all operations of the enclosure manufacturing facility. In 2005 he joined Comrac Ltd as Managing Director, where he led the company and drove the merger between Comrac and Sinetica and was appointed as Group Chief Executive of Unite Technologies Ltd in June 2007. As a member of the Institute of Directors, Simon is also Managing Director of Sinetica Incorporated and Chairman of an IT based company.

Nick Bamkin

Nick BamkinFinance Director and Company Secretary

Nick Bamkin qualified as a chartered accountant in 1991, specialising in taxation, risk management and internal controls. Between 1995 and 2000, Nick trained within the accountancy profession with Haines Watts and Arthur Anderson working in the business risk and consulting division, developing his contractual skills with listed PLC’s. In 2000, Nick moved to Britannic Assurance where he was responsible as Internal Audit Manager

for Head Office and all assurance business sites, before joining Comrac Ltd in 2004. Between 2004 and 2007, Nick headed up the Finance and HR functions as Financial Controller and was heavily involved in the merger process between Comrac and Sinetica before being appointed to the position of Finance Director and Company Secretary of Unite technologies on 1 June 2007.

Dr. Peter Farrar

Dr. Peter FarrarTechnical Director

Peter Farrar entered the engineering industry after reading and achieving a first class honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.  After gaining experience at Marconi Space & Defence System Ltd as a Trails Engineer, he accepted the position of research fellow at Cardiff University to undertake research in plastic injection moulding machine control systems, before receiving his PhD. Following this, Peter as one of the founding directors of Technology Concepts, held the position as Software Director and acted as Technical Consultant for

Anardi Systems, specialising predominately in product design, software design, technical feasibility studies and embedded software designs. Peter left Anardi Systems in 2005 to join Sinetica Corporation as Technical Director, overseeing product development. Following the merger in 2007 of Comrac and Sinetica, Peter was appointed as Operations Director of Unite Technologies, responsible for the development, operations, support and quality assurance teams.

Richard May

Richard MayDirector

Richard May qualified in Business and Finance before pursuing a sales career with Reuters plc, London. Having gained valuable training within the financial sector, he held a series of sales management and account directorship positions within the data centre market, specialising in the design, specification and management of global rollouts of server and network hardware management technologies. In 2004, Richard was appointed as Technical Director of Comrac Ltd,

enabling him to bridge the gap between technical expertise and customer needs. Assisting in the merger between Comrac and Sinetica, he was appointed as a Director of Unite Technologies Ltd in June 2007, where he takes responsibility for managing revenue streams, strategic accounts and contributes directly to the strategic direction and focus of the business.

Andrew Peach

Andrew PeachDirector

Andrew Peach graduated from Manchester University after reading Management Sciences, moving into Sales to specialise in corrosion resistant vessel lining technology. Between 1981 and 1986 he held a series of senior sales positions and in 1986 was appointed as Director of Broadchain Ltd, responsible for the provision of sales and marketing consultancy services. Having gained valuable experience in UPS connectivity products, Andrew formed Systems Enhancement Corporation Ltd in 1991, and as Managing Director identified emerging markets for the distribution of UPS connectivity

based products on a pan-European and UK basis. In 1998 he formed Sinetica Corporation Ltd in order to extend the concept of UPS monitoring to the entire IT infrastructure, with an emphasis on creating market leading environmental and power monitoring products suitable to the corporate marketplace. Following the merger of Sinetica and Comrac in 2007, Andrew took up a position on the board of directors within Unite Technologies and is responsible for global channel sales and OEM relationships, advising on the strategy and direction of technology.

Neil McPherson

Neil McPhersonDirector

Neil McPherson received a formal sales training with BASF in the computer magnetic media division gaining experience in a business to business environment and showing innovation in offering new solutions to market and significant business development within both the UK and channel markets. Following a spell at CCS media at the outset of his career, Neil formed Comrac Ltd in 1991 and as Chairman, held responsibilities encompassing all aspects of sales

and marketing strategy, financial accounting practices and delivery of new technologies to market, including Remote Console Management solutions when first breaking the enterprise market. Neil was involved in the merger of Comrac and Sinetica and in 2007 was appointed to the position of Director within Unite Technologies, where he focuses on solutions sales.

David Pilgrim

David PilgrimNon-Executive Chairman

David Pilgrim was commissioned from the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst in 1960 and over the next 20 years held a number of responsible postings in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) across Northern Ireland, Great Britain, North Africa and Germany. After retiring as Major from H M Forces, he qualified as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Electrical Engineers and entered the engineering industry, joining R R Donnelly and Sons in Chicago, as Vice President of Engineering, Research and Development. Between 1984 and 1999, David held various Chief Executive

positions and Non-Executive Directorship roles within IT based engineering companies before joining Sinetica Corporation Ltd as Non-Executive Chairman in 1999. Equipped with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, a Masters degree in Computer and Systems Engineering and an MBA in Technology Management, David continued to act as Non-Executive Chairman following the formation of Unite Technologies Ltd in 2007 and is also Non-Executive Chairman of two further software based companies.
