For over 15 years we have designed and manufactured our own Sinetica branded product portfolio, forging along the way strategic partnerships with major global specialist technology manufacturers to complement our core solutions. In doing so, we have harnessed the power of Information and Communication Technologies and transformed entire industries, simplifying the management of clients’ networks, enhancing the visibility of the data centre environment and enabling informed decisions to be made.

Integrated Enclosure Solutions
Unite works with a number of ‘best of breed’ partners to provide a wide range of scalable data centre enclosure solutions, which include functionality that copes with forecasted heat loads, security, scalability and space demands. As the latest addition to our range of integrated enclosure solutions, the IQCab is the first of its kind to provide high availability and full redundancy as standard. Ideal for applications requiring affordable redundancy, the IQCab encompasses environmental and power monitoring through the deployment of dual fed Hawk-i2’s and dual intelligent A & B feed power strips. With the optional deployment of our remote access management and centralised control solution, full redundancy is achieved through dual AC inputs, dual power supplies and automatic failover to support the redundant power distribution. Fully cabled, the IQCab is designed to provide a ‘ready to run’ integrated framework, enabling enhanced connectivity, performance and security, in addition to early warning and troubleshooting.
Power Monitoring & Control
A wide range of our standard and custom intelligent, retrofit and ‘non-invasive’ power capabilities are a prime solution for both new and existing builds. Unite’s range of intelligent remote power management solutions incorporate both monitored and controlled power strips, dual in-line units and our non-invasive solution, which allows the ‘non-invasive’ measurement of RMS Amps through the CL-Amp.
Available in a wide variety of formats, allowing the specification of number of outlets, type of outlets, maximum power through-put , individual socket fusing and individual neons, each power strip provides readings for RMS Amps, RMS Volts and Total Power KW/hr. Each reading has upper and lower thresholds and upper and lower control thresholds, each of which generates an SNMP alarm if a exceeded.
Environmental Management
To help deliver high availability networks and prevent unplanned downtime and data loss, our integrated local and remote monitoring capabilities allow for the earliest possible warning of issues by alerting and collecting data on all variables at cabinet, room and zone level, providing the interface between the monitoring hardware and network. As part of our environmental management solution, we measure both temperature and humidity over the network to monitor the environmental conditions of the data centre and provide ‘real time’ and polled data capture of other critical data centre physical infrastructure parameters such as power, temperature and humidity, door access, fire, smoke, shock, light and water.
Security
Security solutions provided by Unite can be broken down into both the physical and network layer, both of which provide successful mitigation of threats and protect the network against downtime and loss by controlling access to network resources. Through our gateway security based solutions we not only ensure the security of the data centre environment but also simplify networks by enabling authenticated users to freely manage their hardware and software environments working within an enterprise class framework. Typically, all hardware devices can be accessed via a single menu and a central audit trail provided.
Other security capabilities and solutions deployed by Unite provide integration with clients’ existing security systems and technologies, such as bespoke swipe card and biometric hardware, in addition to the integration of IP camera technology with card reader systems and intelligent access control. Our extensive range of security based solutions offers audited local and remote access and control, the monitoring of unauthorised or unplanned cabinet entry including the use of shock and vibration sensors to detect forced entry, automated activation of auxiliary fan units in the event of a local rise in ambient temperature, visual alarms such as the integration of aisle beacons and networked CCTV cameras triggered by event or motion detection.
Hardware Management
In the drive towards building ‘lights out’ data centres we offer integration across a wide range of vendor independent hardware management solutions, minimising risk and downtime, by utilising a variety of hardware management tools, ranging from generic software and model specific on-board management cards, to KVM, Serial Terminal Servers and the remote control of the power ports, in order to achieve centralised policy and security management of remote access to servers essential to ensuring business continuity.
Management Information
Our enterprise device management level software application provides ‘real time’ alerting, data polling and collection, by monitoring the actual data centre environment through automated processes. With a multi-dimensional perspective our software contains a central, visual repository of all data centre infrastructure information, allowing users to monitor and control multi-vendor devices from a single console and produce sophisticated management information and reports, enabling trend analysis and risk management for mission critical services.
Multi-Device Applications
By providing ‘real time’ alerting, data polling and collection, allowing users to monitor and control multi-vendor devices from a single console, sophisticated management information and reports are produced. This management information enables proactive capacity management of critical infrastructure components with intelligent alarm processing and event logging. In supporting the physical infrastructure of the data centre, our software allows data centre managers to visualise their environment, manage processes, measure capacities, plan for change and deliver ‘real time’ monitoring with a comprehensive ability to capture multivendor assets found within the data centre including un-interruptible power supplies, CRAC units, static switches, third party power strips and network switches.
Ergonomic Solutions
Most modern environments present a number of hazards and consequentially ergonomics has become a concern to both employers and employees alike. An ergonomic friendly workplace is said to increase productivity and efficiency and reduce fatigue, exertion and disorders that result from awkward posture.
Unite’s Ergonomic Accessories group offers mounting solutions for LCD, TFT and Plasma panels which have found a balance between functionality and aesthetics.
