Typically, all hardware devices can be accessed via a single menu and a central audit trail provided.
Comprehensive remote access capabilities significantly reduce physical visits to the data centre for the purposes of hardware management, thereby contributing greatly to a ‘lights out’ environment.
Synergy with our integrated solutions for network managed devices, remote switching facilities and
network management software is found in remote console management technology and sophisticated security systems, which are often deployed to integrate IP camera technology with card reader systems and intelligent access control.

Unite Technologies provides other integrated security capabilities and solutions, which focus on enhancing the physical security of a data centre, in order to minimise downtime and provides integration with our clients’ existing security systems and technologies, such as bespoke swipe card and biometric hardware.
Unite Technologies offers audited local and remote access and control, the monitoring of unauthorised or unplanned cabinet entry including the use of shock and vibration sensors to detect forced entry, automated activation of auxiliary fan units in the event of a local rise in ambient temperature, visual alarms such as the integration of aisle beacons and networked CCTV cameras triggered by event or motion detection.
